Sustained Attention in Psychopathology
Investigating sustained attention in those with Schizophrenia, Schizotypal Personality Disorder as well as non affected relatives. Sustained attention has been shown to be disrupted in people with schizophrenia and in some of their relatives. However, it is currently not known whether those with related personality features also show this pattern of performance. We will assess sustained attention using a computer test that requires participants to maintain focus for an extended period of time while looking for targets among distracters briefly presented on a computer screen
